Capital Roots' Spring Brunch

Sunday May 7th, 2017

Empire State Plaza

It’s no wonder Capital Roots' Spring Brunch attracts nearly 700 guests each year. It’s been an annual event for nearly 30 years! Over the years the event has grown to involve 100 food and beverage purveyors in a buffet-style brunch and hundreds of in-kind donors in a silent auction.

Listen to live music while you enjoy buffet favorites, like mimosas, quiche and more! Then bid on Mother’s Day gifts, gardening goods, artwork, destination packages and more while your children enjoy activities provided by the Scotia-Glenville Children’s Museum.

There’s something for everyone at Capital Roots' Spring Brunch, held annually on the first Sunday in May, this year at the Empire State Plaza!

It's also not too late to join as a member of our Spring Brunch Honorary Committee. By donating at a higher level of support this year you can help ensure the continued expansion of our programs to nourish healthy communities and urban green spaces.  All Honorary Committee members are given four tickets to the brunch, which we hope you will use to invite colleagues and friends to join you at the event. You can also donate your un-needed tickets to allow our low-income community gardeners to attend the Brunch.
