Produce Farmers, looking for new markets?

Capital Roots' fresh food access programs sell to institutions and directly to low-income consumers in the Capital Region.

More than 50% of our annual produce purchases are from local farms.

We buy at a fair price from farmers and do not require a GAP audit, but are working with more schools who are also looking to buy from GAP certified farms.

With our growing programs, we are looking for new farm partners!

We will work with you to:

-Develop a plan based on last year's purchases.

-Work out delivery options that work best for you.

-Support you though the GAP audit process, if you are interested.

We believe that everyone has the right to access fresh, healthy, and affordable food.  We also believe that small, family farms have the right to sustainable, local markets.
