Capital Roots’ Virtual Spring Auction
This spring Capital Roots is celebrating 45 years of service to our community. To help raise support for our important food access work, we hosted our first ever virtual silent auction from April 28 to May 3. Ongoing restrictions for in person gatherings have led us to place our annual Spring Brunch on hold until next year. A popular component of the Spring Brunch is our silent auction that allowed our 650 participants to bid on items, big and small, drawing interest to businesses and raising money for Capital Roots.

Payment Instructions: Payment is required upon conclusion of the auction. We encourage payment at pick-up (address is below, please schedule your time with us prior to coming); however, you can choose to utilize the Pay Now option to pay by credit card. Cash/Check is accepted for in-person pick-ups. Invoices/receipts will be sent to winning bidders at the end of the auction. If paying by credit card, please note that charges will apply (6% +$0.70). For credit card payments, please consider including an Add-On Amount to your invoice to cover the additional 6% +$0.70 per transaction fee that Capital Roots will incur. You can do this by viewing your invoice, entering the additional amount you want added in the Add-On Amount box, and then clicking the Pay Now button. This will ultimately increase the total amount raised for our auction, helping Capital Roots to offset any transaction fees. All auction items can be picked up at our Urban Grow Center, 594 River St. Troy, NY 12180 (please contact us first to schedule your time) In some cases, arrangements can be made to mail your item(s) by emailing info@capitalroots.org (shipping fees will be applied) Note: If you are not picking up in person – you must pay online.
